Naming
Group name | Type |
---|---|
Linear_1 | Mandatory |
Linear_2 | Mandatory |
Island | Optional |
Circulations
We have added circulations only for the island as follows:
- Front=600mm
- Right=600mm
- Back=600mm
- Left=600mm
Note:
When chairs are on the island, we put circulation of 300mm on the chair side.
Constraints
Relative Placement: Face to Face
This constraint will allow the two reference wall of each group (Linear_1 and Linear_2) to be face to face.
Alignment Between the Linears
For design consistency we will add an alignment between Linear_1 and Linear_2 so that they appear aligned within a 500mm range. Margin of error = 500mm.
Distance
For design consistency, we apply a distance constraint between Linear_1 and Linear_2 so that they are not too close or too far from each other in the consumer room.
- Min value = 1200mm
- Max value = 3500mm
Same Wall
Apply the same wall constraint between Linear_1 and Island so that when offering solutions the island will always be on the same side. Otherwise, the user could end up with four solutions and only the island turning around.
Alignment Between an Island and the Linear
Alignment constraint ensure to have the island not far away from the Linear_1. We suggest a default value of 1000mm
meaning that the island could go on the left or right side of the selected axis until 1000mm. The reason behind such a
big number is that we would rather have an island not perfectly aligned but present than not-so that the sales associate
will have a discussion about the island with the consumer. When aligning, try to respect as much as you can the original
template.
Applied between two linear groups Linear_1 and Island with default value = 1000mm.
